All the way from George Rice Custom Surfboards in Victoria, Australia comes this classic, custom, Malibu-style, longboard ready to ride or display as a beautiful piece of longboard surfing history. Foam; fiberglass; and resin construction with a 1/2" redwood stringer. Flat deck, flat bottom, subtle rocker with gentle nose kick; 50/50, tapered, 'cut-lap' rails pulled 'knifey' to the nose and tail. Re-glassed in recent decades with a 'turquoise tint' added on deck with the original 'clear' bottom; red, straight-back, D-style, poly skeg is 9" high x 10" base x 1 1/4" span. Polished finish with early production #1479.
16 1/2" nose x 22 1/2" hip x 15" tail x 4 1/2" pod; 2 3/4" thick; 35 lbs.
