Labor Ready is seeking candidates for a General Laborer in Wixom, MI. Our customer is a leading provider of manufacturing and packaging a wide variety of consumer, industrial and institutional products. Our client employs over 500 employees in the US and Canada. Its facilities together offer more than 800,000 sq ft of manufacturing, packaging and warehousing space on over 70 acres of land. This is a Temp to Hire position for 1st shift 6am- 4:30pm ,Monday –Friday.With occasional Saturdays. The pay rate is $7.40 per hour.
Job Duties:
-Mulitiple positions in the production plant, supporting the production assembley lines
- Creating boxes, attaching lids to boxes, filling boxes with scoops
- Clean up of work area
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates MUST have the following:
- Excellent attendance required, dependable, good work ethic, respects authority
--Physically fit, able to stand, reach, bend and lift 50lbs continously for full shift
- Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment (saftey glasses, gloves and steel toe boots)
- Submit to a Criminal Background Check
- Submit to a Drug Screen
