JOLLY JAKE Jake is a terrier mix with perhaps a dash of Wheaton thrown into the blend. No matter what his heritage, this boy is a dashing butterscotch-colored canine specimen! This sweethearts irresistible appearance is matched only by his charming personality, intelligence and sense of humor. Jake is very playful and full of energy and a good walker, however hes also happy chillaxin at your feet, or preferably at your side on the sofa. He is a great choice for someone looking for a mature dog with a robust, outgoing personality. He particularly enjoys giving squirrels grief and good ole rambunctious playtime. He needs a securely fenced yard so that he can have his fun within safe boundaries. Jake will do best with adults and children over 12, but can be weary of strangers. He does best when he's able to approach new people rather than have them approach him. Jake is a bit too rough with the resident cat in his foster home and should go to a home without small animals. Jake is okay with other medium and large dogs, but has a dominant personality and prefers to be the only dog in the house. Jake is house trained and loves to go on car rides. Do come out and meet Jake. We dare you to look into those big caramel brown eyes and not be captivated!
