Basenji - Tagus - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog
Tagus has already had two homes in his young life. After being purchased by someone from a pet store as a young puppy he was given to another person at 10 months of age. Now he has been surrendered to our rescue at 2 years old to find his new forever home. Tagus is very puppylike and playful, loves attention and likes to be pet. He is a very affectionate and loyal dog but can be high energy. He can do well with another dog if introduced slowly so he can become comfortable. He is fine with kids does very well in the car and enjoys going on daily walks. Tagus can sit and lay down on command but has not completed obedience trainiing. Please research the breed to be familar with Basenji's and their traits. Tagus does not bark but is vocal and will make howling type noises typical of the breed. A fenced yard is recommended. Some dogs may require households with children over a certain age. Ask yourself some questions before you consider bringing a new dog home.
