  • CHS has an opening for an Executive Assistant to work in our Headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, MI providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and President.


    The primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support the CEO and the President, Commercial Services. Additional assistance may be provided to other executives as needed.


    Some college is preferred and at least 3 years of executive support experience is required.

    Must be competent, professional, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

    Possesses expert computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or comparable presentation/graphics software packages). Technology orientation including cell phone, databases, etc

    Projects a positive and professional demeanor in a high demand environment.

    Effectively identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.

    Prioritizes workload through efficient organization, planning and use of time.

    Adapts easily to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

    Dependable at all times to be consistently at work and on time, follows instructions and responds to management direction.

    Flexibility and a willingness to be available outside of regular operating hours are essential.


    Manages executive correspondence, scheduling of meetings, calendars and prepare expense reports.

    Coordinates Senior Management, Board of Directors and Shareholder meetings to include correspondence and materials as needed.

    Schedules and coordinates travel arrangements to include hotel accommodations, car rental, and flight itinerary. Prepares travel packets with logistics and travel details for the CEO and President for every trip.

    Timesheet management and approval for self, executives and other staff as needed.

    Compiles reports; creates graphs, charts, and slide presentations using PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.

    Edits work for spelling and grammar. Presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.

    Performs errands for corporate executive staff members as required.

    Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.

    Maintains confidentiality of all corporate and personnel matters.

    Plans, coordinates, and implements special events such as company picnics, holiday parties, etc.

    Other duties as assigned.


    Computer and common office equipment.

    Salary is $28,000 to $35,000
