Our Client is a global leader in the manufacture of highly engineered, complex components serving the agriculture, automotive and aftermarket customers. It offers extensive value-added services including precision maching, engineering, heat treating, assembly, tool design and finishing.
Provide strategic leadership for the company by working with the Leadership team to establish long range goals, and strategies. Drive the company’s financial performance in conjunction with the Leadership team. Drive lean business systems throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Direct all aspects of finance operations including account receivables, account payables, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting
2.Provide accurate financial forecast models and analysis, and drive required actions throughout the company to achieve financial commitments to our ownership, our bank, and our management team.
3.Provide strategic guidance to organization to achieve long-term goals.
4.Provide strong leadership to implement lean business systems throughout the company.
5.Develop metrics for all functional teams to drive performance. Be an agent of change.
6.Develop required reporting and manage cash functions to ensure adequate liquidity both short and long term.
7.Maintain bank relationships and reporting requirements. Provide advance warnings on covenant issues.
8.Lead the annual financial planning process.
9.Responsible for review of all contracts.
10.Maintain strong and clear communications with ownership team.
11.Attend and report on financial results at Board of Directors meetings.
12.Ensure compliance with all GAAP and Tax requirements.
13.Manage IT function.
14.Other tasks as assigned.
This job has supervisory responsibilities for the Finance and IT departments and other departments as assigned. In addition, there are supervisory Associates that report directly to this position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA Preferred
•Bulk of experience in a hard goods manufacturing company
•Sound understanding of managerial/cost accounting
•Experience of interfacing and working with the manufacturing/operations side of a company to drive quantifiable successes
•Robust experience in financial reporting, budgeting and analysis
•Minimum 5-10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Demonstrated track record of success for a sustained time of employment with the same company
